WMRMYC Inc Scratch Winter Series Round 3, Manly - 2nd July 2017

Light fickle winds were the order of the day, the wind being mainly S to SW which made the course a little difficult to decide on.

Race officer Scott, with some help from fellow sailors, did a good job choosing which way to go. We are very limited with course settings due to  boating traffic in the harbour.
Race wins were shared by 6 sailors today, and any one of 4 skippers could have won the  day.

Looking at the score sheet, I noticed that the first 5 placegetters all had at least 6 top 5 placings or better . Consistency won the day for me. Sailing today was hard and quite a
few of the better skippers were saying their boat lacked speed, maybe we had our sails a little too tight in the light winds????

Many thanks to John for scoring and Bruce for his photographic prowess.
