S/QLD RM Championships - 27th September 2016

It was a beautiful sunny day with winds predominately coming from the South-West, gusting at times from the West. The course was set in the traditional triangle / windward return.

Eleven skippers took to the water for the first race.  After several races it became quite obvious that it would be a race for the minor places, Greg Torpy had not been beaten in the first few races and this trend continued throughout the day.

Greg won with 13 points whilst Jason Nasmith came in second on 29 points and Garry Taylor came in third on 48 points, Norm Cash was in forth place on 49 points, one point behind Garry.

Skippers should be complimented on the manner in which they conducted themselves, I believe it assisted in making an enjoyable day for all.
